The M130 is an excellent choice if you live in an area without extreme winds (up to 120 km/h) and prefer a more compact aesthetic. The M130 cassette (130 mm) is smaller than the M150 (150 mm), making it look more elegant on windows, balconies, or smaller pergolas, where a larger cassette might appear bulky.

 

2. Is the M130 effective against mosquitoes?
Yes, absolutely. The ZIP system (zipper in the guides) ensures there is no gap between the fabric and the guide. When the shutter is fully lowered, it acts as a tight insect screen, much stronger and more durable than conventional mosquito nets.

 

3. Can the M130 be operated manually?
No. All our ZIP rollet shutters are motorized. Manual operation is not recommended due to friction in the guides and the need for consistent fabric tension. The motor ensures the fabric is always perfectly tensioned and the system is protected from damage.

 

4. Can you see inside through the fabric?
It depends on the light. During the day, the “Screen” fabric works like a mirror: you can see outside, while passersby cannot see in, ensuring privacy. At night, if you have lights on inside, the effect reverses — you see reflections, but the interior may be visible from outside. For complete night-time privacy, “blockout” (opaque) fabrics are also available.
