MISTERAL ZIP ROLLOS – Premium Outdoor Blinds for Large SurfacesMisteral ZIP screen rollos are synonymous with uncompromising quality and structural stability. They are designed to cover large areas (up to 6 x 3 m) without wrinkling the fabric. Thanks to the robust construction and heavier materials, all our blinds come equipped with a motorized drive (remote control or wall switch), ensuring comfort and long service life.
The ZIP system secures the fabric like an effective insect screen and provides hail protection while still allowing an outward view.
Choose the Ideal Model for Your BuildingDepending on wind load and architectural requirements, we offer three specialized solutions:
1. ZIP Rollo M150 – Extreme StrengthThe most robust blind on the market for highly wind-exposed areas.
2. ZIP Rollo M130 – Elegant DurabilityThe perfect balance of aesthetics and durability for most residential projects.
3. Underputz ZIP Rollo – Perfect IntegrationAn invisible solution for new constructions and facade renovations.
Technical Superiority and MaterialsAt Misteral, we never compromise. Every ZIP Rollo is custom-made and structurally verified.
Premium Fabrics: We exclusively use Copaco and Serge Ferrari. The perforated fabric structure allows air circulation, prevents overheating, and maintains an outward view. Structurally Optimized Guides: For maximum stability, we select the guide size based on the blind dimensions: 33 x 53 mm | 33 x 110 mm | 33 x 130 mm | 33 x 150 mm
Color Coordination: The aluminum frame is available in all colors according to the RAL chart. Installation: Compatible with all types of our pergolas (bioclimatic, fixed, glass) or directly on the building facade.

OTHER PROJECTS OF ZIP ROLLER SHUTTERS
1. Can ZIP rollet shutters really withstand winds up to 140 km/h?
Yes. Our M150 model is specifically engineered for extreme conditions. The combination of a robust 150 mm cassette, reinforced guides, and the ZIP attachment system allows the shutters to withstand gusts up to 140 km/h, equivalent to hurricane-force winds. Nevertheless, we recommend raising the shutters during extreme storms for safety.
2. Can ZIP rollet shutters replace an insect screen?
Absolutely. This is one of its greatest advantages. The ZIP fabric is securely engaged in the guides along the entire height and finishes at the bottom with a weighted slat and seal, preventing insects from entering. With a single product, you achieve both shading and insect protection.
3. Can I see outside when the shutters are lowered?
Yes. We use “Screen” fabrics from Copaco and Serge Ferrari, which are mesh-based. During the day, you can see outside unobstructed, while the fabric maintains interior privacy. At night, when lights are on indoors, this effect is reversed.
4. Why are all ZIP rollet shutters motorized?
Due to the robust construction, material weight, and friction in the ZIP guides, manual operation is impractical and difficult. A motorized drive ensures even fabric tension, prevents damage from mishandling, and extends the system’s lifespan.
5. Does the fabric get dirty in the cassette?
No. When the shutters are raised, the fabric is safely stored inside an aluminum cassette. This protects it from rain, snow, smog, and dirt, maintaining its appearance and functionality for many years.
6. Can ZIP rollet shutters be installed on an existing pergola or windows?
Yes. M130 and M150 ZIP rollet shutters are suitable for retrofit installations. They can be mounted on window frames, recesses, balconies, or as side closures for any type of pergola (even non-Misteral, if the structure allows).
7. How do the shutters perform in hail?
Technical fabrics from Serge Ferrari and Copaco are highly tear-resistant. When tensioned, the fabric acts as a flexible barrier, deflecting hail and preventing ice from breaking glass or damaging other blinds behind it.
