Ground Mounting System for All Misteral Pergolas and CarportsFor outdoor structures exposed to wind, snow, and rain, there can be no compromises on safety. Whether you choose a bioclimatic pergola, fixed pergola, or carport, Misteral ensures the same level of superior stability and aesthetic perfection.
The key advantage of all our systems is the advanced mounting method using an integrated AISI 316 Inox bracket. This not only provides exceptional load-bearing capacity but also allows for a clean design without visible screws—a hallmark of the Misteral brand.
The Heart of Stability: Hidden Inox Bracket (AISI 316)The foundation of every post—whether for a carport or terrace—is a robust ground bracket. At Misteral, we use only stainless steel of quality AISI 316.
Why is this important?
Superior resistance: AISI 316 steel (also known as "marine grade") is highly resistant to corrosion, chlorides, and salts. This ensures a long-lasting structure even in coastal areas or near saltwater pools. Perfect integration: The bracket is completely hidden inside the post. No visible flanges, angles, or screws are seen from the outside. The post meets the ground elegantly and minimally.
One Standard for All Solutions: Pergolas and CarportsIt is important to note that this advanced technology is not reserved only for our most expensive models. The hidden mounting system with AISI 316 Inox bracket is standard equipment for:
Your carport will have the same level of engineering sophistication and stability as a luxury terrace pergola.
Flexible Installation Methods for Any SituationOur mounting system offers solutions for all construction stages and surfaces:
1. Mounting on Finished Flooring (Adaptations) Ideal for existing terraces and driveways with already installed pavers, tiles, or concrete.
2. Mounting Before Final Flooring (New Construction) If planning the pergola or carport during the construction phase.
3. Special Solutions for Penthouses and Flat Roofs (No Drilling) For terraces with sensitive waterproofing where penetration is not allowed, we use:
Integrated Drainage: Functionality Without PipesAs with bioclimatic pergolas, drainage for fixed carports and pergolas is solved invisibly. Water flows from the roof through the post, past the Inox bracket, directly into the ground drain.
The result is the Misteral standard: Clean lines, no visible pipes, and maximum functionality, regardless of the type of shelter you choose.
Frequently Asked Questions About Ground Mounting
Will screws or metal plates be visible on the floor? No. One of the main aesthetic advantages of Misteral pergolas and carports is completely hidden mounting. The integrated bracket is concealed inside the post. No flanges, angles, or screws are visible externally—the post meets the ground elegantly. What material are the ground mounts made of? Can they rust? No, rusting is impossible. We use only AISI 316 Inox stainless steel. This "marine grade" steel resists salt, chlorine, and acids, ensuring lasting stability even in coastal locations or near pools.
I already have tiles/pavers. Do you need to break the floor? No. If the final flooring is already laid, we install the bracket through the existing flooring into the concrete base. The process is clean and does not damage the surrounding area. If the pergola is planned during construction, the bracket can be embedded in raw concrete, and the final flooring is then laid around it for a seamless look. How is drainage arranged through the post? Drainage is integrated and invisible. A PVC water pipe runs inside the post, past the Inox bracket, and ends directly in the ground drain or soakaway. No external pipes or elbows are visible at the post.
Is this mounting method suitable for carports? Yes. The same standard of superior stability with AISI 316 Inox brackets is used for all our products: bioclimatic pergolas, fixed pergolas, and carports. This ensures the same wind resistance and aesthetic refinement across all structures.
