We use exclusively multi-layer laminated wood (BSH). Unlike solid wood, which can “move,” laminated wood is dimensionally very stable, minimally shrinking or expanding, and does not crack. This is essential for the precise operation of the louver mechanism.

 

What maintenance does a wooden structure require?
This depends on the type of wood and your aesthetic preferences:

• Larch: Can be left untreated and will naturally develop a grey patina (natural protection), or oiled to preserve its original color.
